I have been a social worker for nearly 20 years working primarily with children with disabilities, and more recently a child protection worker.
I’m Sally Jones, mother of two, grandma of one, lover of yoga and creator of Calm Kids, Calm Families.
Many years of working with children, particularly those effected by trauma and mental health issues, has highlighted the necessity of easy to access tools that can provide relaxation and calmness to those that need it most.
With over 20 years of yoga practice in Hatha, Iyengar and Vinyasa styles, I know firsthand the calming effect that yoga has on the mind and the body.
Calm Kids, Calm Families focuses on delivering fun and engaging recreational yoga programs for a broad range of audiences.
With formal training in Alignment-Based Vinyasa (200RYT), Kids Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga, services are designed to enhance the lives of children and families through the therapeutic benefits of yoga.
Yoga services include kids’ yoga, family yoga and 1:1 yoga for children or adults with additional needs.
