I’m Sally Jones, mother, grandma of two, lover of yoga and creator of Calm Kids, Calm Families. 

I have been a social worker for over 20 years working with children with disabilities, their families and as a child protection worker. I still work with the Department of Communities undertaking adoption and foster carer assessments.

Many years of working with children has highlighted the need for access to tools for children. parents and carers that can provide relaxation and calmness to those that need it most.

With over 20 years of yoga practice in Hatha, Iyengar and Vinyasa styles, I know firsthand the calming effect that yoga, mindfulness and meditation has on the mind and the body.

With formal training in Alignment-Based Vinyasa (200RYT), Kids Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Yin Yoga, services are designed to enhance the lives of children and families through the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

I am trained facilitator for the Peaceful Kids program ™ and the Circle of Security Parenting Program ™. and offer workshops to families and organisations.
